Felted Blessings Summer Art Camp 2025 Afternoon
In this engaging art class designed for 12 to 17-year-olds, students will delve into the world of needle felting while also enhancing their portrait drawing skills. Whether new to felting or having experience, participants will enjoy practicing their expertise as they learn the intricate techniques of needle felting to create dynamic, textured pieces that express their individuality. In this workshop, students will create miniature felted "paintings" and a three-dimensional bird on a wire frame. Simultaneously, they will receive valuable tips on portrait drawing, focusing on proportions, facial features, and shading techniques. All necessary supplies are included in the cost of the camp, and for those who are eager to continue their crafting adventures at home, felting kits will also be available for purchase.
Afternoon camp will run from 1:00-4:00, Monday through Thursday, July 28-31.
