Custom Animal Portraits
Custom portraits can be made in a two-dimensional painting style or a three-dimensional sculpture. They are a wonderful way to commemorate a special pet!
To begin the process, I will need several good quality, clear photos of your pet, including some full-front head shots. For sculptures I will need some from each view: front, each side, top, and back. I will also need to know the breed.
All two-dimensional paintings will be matted in the mat size listed. The paintings can stand alone on an easel, or they can be placed in a frame with the glass removed or a shadow box frame.
For custom portraits, a 30% deposit will secure your order. Please allow 4-6 weeks for creation and shipment. I will send a photo of the completed piece, to ensure your complete satisfaction, before you pay the balance of your order. Once the balance is paid, I will carefully package and ship your animal portrait.
I can also create other custom orders such as wool paintings or whimsical critters. If you see something you like in my portfolio, just mention in the email that you would like something similar to “name of artwork.”

Custom animal sculptures are an especially unique way to honor a particular pet or other animal. There is a distinctive enjoyment in holding your mini pet in your hand. The sculptures are created over a wire armature making them somewhat posable. Animals will be placed on a wood slice so they can be removed to stand alone or left on the base for display.
